Day 3 in San Francisco. Technically we are locals now since we have an address and we finally changed our address’s with the post office (and the million magazine subscriptions Greg we have!). We spoke to someone who has lived in San Francisco for 4+ years and has NEVER been to Fisherman’s Wharf! and she lives in North Beach! That doesn’t make any sense! Well we didn’t want that to be us, so we grabbed our bus passes and headed over. Basically, if you enjoy clam chowder, shirts with I <3 SF, random street performers, or you're a tourist, Fisherman's Wharf is the place to go! Luckily I do LOVE clam chowder and Greg LOVES carbs so we walked over to Boudin San Francisco Sourdough and had us the best clam chowder in a sourdough bowl! The first thing I thought of was how much my papa would love this place (old people + any kind of soup = Happy Camper). We ate on the patio outside of Boudin’s which was awesome because people watching is extremely entertaining.
Fisherman’s Wharf is a world famous tourist attraction, so there is plenty of “different” people to see here! It’s very touristy, but on a nice sunny day its the best place to grab some lunch and enjoy the views of Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge, perfect people watching spot, and there is plenty of entertainment. Watch the videos we took of some guys doing awesome break dancing!
Also, check out some pictures we took at the Wharf.
