WARNING The guy in this picture has nothing to do with my job, other than I took this picture on my way home from work. After several sleepy head bobs he unfortunately did not go face first into the pole. Sorry, but that would have made my day!
OK! OK! I’ll spill the deets on my recent employment.
After Several tweets/emails/buzz’sgs(?) requesting to hear all about the big news, I am finally ready to divulge!
To tell you the truth, I didn’t want to jinx anything, but after receiving my very first paycheck, I think any curses that may have been looming have vanished completely. Or haaaaave they….
Yes, they have!
On February 16, 2010 I became the Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships for Real Girls Media. Fancy title hu!?!
Real Girls Media is a group of smart, creative, talented women AND men (YES, men too!!!) working together to create a fun, informative, and unique community at DivineCaroline.com
I personally work with talented bloggers from all over the country to help make DivineCaroline.com the best it can be. I am also on the lookout for new creative bloggers, and I help manage DivineCaroline’s Twitter and Facebook. So. Yea. I read blogs and tweet all day. What can be better than that?!?!?! Ummmmm NOTHING! It’s pretty much my dream job. BE JEALOUS!
*Quick Story* My manager E. (she reads my blog so: Hi E.!!!!) told me that part of the reason they hired me, was because of the recommendation letter I posted on my blog from my BFF Kate. I’m pretty sure Kate peed her pants when I told her that!
I’m so happy to have a job! I’m even more happy that it’s a job I love! Not only am I a SanFranciscoNoob, I am now a RealGirlsMediaNoob. I can’t wait to continue learning and growing with this great company.
Somebody pinch me…I may be dreaming! WAIT WAIT! Don’t pinch me, I don’t want to wake up!
P.S. My Birthday is in 20 days!! Feel free to check out my wish list…
