Market Street Walk from Lower Haight to Embarcadero

July 17th, 2009 · 2 Comments · San Francisco · By: Casi

After some lunch and people/dog watching at Alamo Square Park we decided that the day was way to pretty to just go back home. So we just started walking! We walked through Lower Haight which had lots of hole in the wall food joints. We walked to Market Street and saw lots of people and stores so we just kept going! We walked past SOMA and Tenderloin, and walked by tons of tourists and fun shopping spots when we got closer to Union Square and the Financial District. This is definitely where we will come back when family visits! We took some pics near a fountain area in the Financial District, one of which made us laugh till we cried…

One thing we have learned in SF is that there is no shortage of birds and to always watch where we sit, stand, or nap like in this guys case … this Poor San Francisco Noob doesn’t have a chance!

We finally made it! It was an awesome adventure and we saw a few new places that we definitely want to get back to!

The trail we blazed:
