Greg, me, and a couple of our roommates hit up S.N.O.B. Wine Bar Sunday night for some live music and wine. It was exactly what I expected (which is a good thing). There was a long bar along the narrow room with a small area in the front with comfy chairs and couches. In the back there was a small space for three guys to play the guitar while we sipped on good wine (I had the Merlot -$8- and Greg had the Pinot Noir -$9-). They served a good amount of wine per glass (which usually ends up being practically a tasting size helping in most bars) and the one waitress behind the bar was very attentive and sweet. She even had some suggestions when it looked like we were having some decision making problems. The crowd was kool, everyone kind of chatted while we enjoyed the live music.
The bar was pretty dark, but here are a few shots we got…

After S.N.O.B. we went a few doors down to McTeague’s Saloon which was pretty much empty. It was a Sunday night, so it was expected. We went straight to the bar ordered a beer and then back to the pool table and played a couple rounds (quarters needed) with our roommates. If it’s possible to take over the back little section with a group of your friends I would say, that is the best way to get the full advantage of the bar. We will have to venture back on another night when I’m sure it will have a bunch more people.
