Tee Off Bar and Grill – Outer Richmond in San Francisco

Went to Tee Off for Dinner Friday night. It’s a little hole in the wall bar that has a full bar and food. I’m always a little iffy of bar food (well, that is, BEFORE having cocktails), but our dinner was GREAT! We started off the night with some Fat Tires (we didn’t get too adventurous with our beer selection) and ordered “chicken tenders.” At the time we ordered I thought “I want something safe” (re: my bar food comment above). We walked around the small bar and found an outside terrace where groups of people sat at picnic style tables and watched others play ping pong (all in business attire, so I’m guessing they were getting their Friday Happy Hour fix). No room for us, so we ventured back inside and found a spot next to the pool table. While we waited (which ended up being kind of a long wait) we watched some guys play pool, played with a puppy that strolled in, listened to the jukebox, and I beat up Greg with one of the ROCK ‘EM SOCK ‘EM ROBOT sets! Yes, that’s right! Old School…and AWESOME! Our “chicken tenders” finally arrived! They were the BEST “chicken tenders” I have EVER had! Greg and I both LOVE spicy and were pleasantly surprised when we bit into the spicy BBQ covered “chicken tenders.” We also got some hot off the fryer seasoned fries that went perfectly with the meal. I keep saying “chicken tenders” with the “_” because these were like no “chicken tenders” I have ever had (usually breaded left over meat with some ranch dipping sauce). This meal was delicious and I can’t wait to try some of Tee Off’s other tasty selections. I hear they serve kangaroo on occasion. YES! KANGAROO!
We highly suggest Tee Off on Clement between 32nd and 33rd.
